THIS is the stuff! Science means to question information that you always believed to be true and not to hesitate to dump it if it proves to be wrong after all. Science does not claim to be able to explain everything since it has already proven (by Wittgenstein philosophically, by Gödel mathematically and by Popper in general) that this is not possible, but science helps us understand what makes us tick, and who and what we are (and so does history – one of these days I intend to create a site dedicated to history as well). |
