To ignite curiosity and launch our new science topic on the Solar System, Roger Ascham Primary School recently organised a very special event for our Year 5 classes. In a move that stayed firmly under wraps, we kept the arrival of a spectacular mobile planetarium a complete surprise! The gasps of excitement were audible as the children entered the hall to find a giant immersive dome waiting to whisk them away on a journey through the cosmos.

This "out-of-this-world" experience allowed our pupils to leave the classroom behind and embark on a breathtaking tour of our celestial neighbourhood, providing a 360-degree view of the universe that truly brought their learning to life.
