Year 5 at the Science Museum

Year 5 on a trip to the Science Museum
The Year 5 class took an exciting trip to the Science Museum earlier today, October 7th, 2025, to participate in a workshop focused on forces, which is their current science topic. This visit provided an invaluable opportunity for the children to see real-world applications of the concepts they have been studying, such as gravity, friction, and air resistance, through engaging, hands-on exhibits and demonstrations. The workshop aimed to deepen their understanding by allowing them to test hypotheses and observe forces in action, moving beyond the classroom materials to inspire curiosity and make the abstract principles of physics more tangible and memorable.
