Roger Ascham children enjoy improvised theatre

Roger Ascham juniors experience impromptu theatrical delight.

In a brilliant cultural outing, the Key Stage 2 children from Roger Ascham Primary School—comprising years 3, 4, 5, and 6—recently attended the interactive production of Showstoppers! The Improvised Musical at the local Soho Theatre Walthamstow. The West End hit, famous for its on-the-spot creation of an entirely new musical based on audience suggestions, utterly captivated the young pupils. Throughout the performance, the theatre was filled with bursts of happy laughter and delighted cheers as the children, as spectators, eagerly contributed their ideas and watched the cast seamlessly weave narratives and melodies from their input. The trip was a resounding success, leaving all the children feeling incredibly happy and exhilarated by their memorable, interactive theatrical experience right in the heart of their community.
