Uniform
Why do we wear uniform?
We are very proud of our school and expect all pupils to wear the Roger Ascham uniform with pride every day. We believe that our uniform:
● Creates a sense of school community and belonging
● Creates a sense of identity and cohesion
● Supports positive behaviour
● Protects children from social pressures to dress in a particular way or to wear expensive or popular brands
● Ensures pupils from all cultures and backgrounds feel welcome
It is the responsibility of parents to make sure that your child is in the correct uniform each day. Please see and perhaps revisit our uniform expectations attached. Any exceptions to the expectations should be discussed with the headteacher.
FRAPS volunteers hold regular pre-loved uniform sales or if you are interested in seeing what is available, please email office@rapsch.co.uk or speak to Mrs Johnson in the school office. If you have any pre-loved uniform that is in good condition that you wish to donate, please hand it into the office in a bag.
We look forward to your support in this important part of working together to ensure that we strive towards achieving our school aim which is:
To encourage children to think for themselves and to act in the best interests of us all. This shapes everything we do in school.
