Welcome to Roger Ascham Primary School,
Our website aims to give you a taster of our school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
We are proud to consider ourselves a community school. We have strong links with our local community and our assemblies and curriculum reflect and celebrate the wide range of cultural backgrounds of our pupils.
Our school community is an exciting mix of children and families, some of whom have lived in the local area for generations and others who are more recently arrived - from other parts of London, the UK and the wider world. Many of our staff are part of our local community - many send or used to send their own children to our school; others were parents at the school before joining the team; some were pupils here themselves. This strengthens the community bonds between staff and parents. Older members of staff (like me!) happily greet parents in the playground who we remember from when they were pupils in our school.
Please read the 'Values' page under 'Key Information" for a fuller description of our school's culture, ethos and aims.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
